Ferga Robinson, Psychotherapist & Cognitive behavioural therapist

I am a fully qualified, highly trained counsellor, psychotherapist who also has a degree in psychology. Before joining the NHS in 1989, I worked between 1984 and 1989 in charities providing counselling for people on low incomes. Over a 23 year period I have been practising in the NHS in senior posts as a therapist, supervisor and trainer at Guy's Hospital, South London Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, at St Thomas's Hospital and in a variety of posts in the NHS Sussex since moving to Eastbourne. 

Qualifications: I was awarded Registration with the UK lead body for counselling, the BACP. Awarded a Diploma in Counselling in 1992. I was awarded accreditation with the lead body for CBT in the UK, the BABCP, since 1996. In 1998, I was awarded a post graduate Diploma in Psychosexual and Couples therapy and am eligible for accreditation with the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapies.
